We cordially welcome you to the Pitt Meadows Return-It & Recycling Depot website.

Founded as a Bottle Depot in 2005 under the Encorp Pacific Return-It system, we have grown into a one-stop recycling and return centre in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.

Our mission is to develop, manage, and improve systems for recovering used packaging and end-of-life products from consumers and businesses in Pitt Meadows and surrounding areas. We help ensure that recyclable materials are properly processed and diverted from landfill or incineration.

Our core service is returning beverage container deposits to customers and ensuring proper recycling through the Return-It stewardship program in British Columbia. Pitt Meadows residents, businesses, and ICI customers are welcome to bring bottles, cans, Tetra Pak containers, gable-top cartons, pouches, tins, glass, plastic, aluminum, small and large beverage containers, and receive their deposit refund by cash or through the Return-It Express program.

We are also a one-stop multi-recycling centre for used and obsolete products, including: end-of-life electronics and appliances under the Encorp Return-It system; small appliances, lights, bulbs and fixtures, paint and aerosol containers under Product Care; printed paper and packaging products (PPP), such as waste paper, cardboard, shopping bags, wraps, flexible plastic packaging (FPP), Styrofoam packaging, non-deposit dairy containers, and various glass and metal jars under RecycleBC; and used batteries and cellphones under Call2Recycle.

Ready-to-drink milk and milk substitute beverage containers, including soy, coconut, almond, oat, and similar products, are accepted through the Return-It deposit system and are eligible for a full 10-cent refund.

Customers are welcome to drop off recyclables or set up a Bottle Drive at our depot, located in the Meadow Vale Shopping Centre area, behind Save-On-Foods.

There are three access points to our depot from Lougheed Hwy, Harris Road, and McMyn Road. You will find us behind Save-On-Foods.
